The Korg NuTube is a modern vacuum tube developed for musical instrument amplifiers to provide organic harmonic content. It is a direct heated triode which is the most linear and harmonically correct variety of tube.
The NuTube is coupled to a Class D amplifier output stage to provide realisitic power levels for a wide variety of loudspeakers while offering triode harmonic correctness. In summary the Nu Amplifier sounds like a powerful, transmitting tube amplifier.
