MESON
The Meson is a two way, floor standing loudspeaker with large scale performance. 25 years of research and experience distilled into a compact cabinet with a surprisingly large and three dimensional soundscape.
Features:
Divine proportioned, acoustical elliptic cabinet milled from solid, long fibre, wood and resin stock for rigidity and resonance control.
Over proportioned, forward firing port communicates impulse response into room pressure.
Drivers:
Wide Band: (100hz to 20Khz): Long fibre, paper diaphragm, underhung voice coil, copper shorting sleeve, aluminium phase plug with copper coating, inverted butyl rubber surround, braced, non-resonant, composite frame.
Acoustic Suspension in golden means elliptical chamber.
Bass: (35hz – 100hz) 6.5″ woofer, proprietary cone with natural fibers – coated papyrus reduces resonance, low damping rubber surround, fiberglass voice coil former for minimum damping, cast aluminium frame, extended copper sleeve on pole piece for low inductance and low distortion.
Downward firing, floor coupled, slot loaded, bass reflex achieves 35hz.
